Friday Field Notes: 10/23/2025
Happy Friday, folks.
We’re getting close to the All-In Agency Summit and I wanted to cordially invite you all to attend.
The Summit is an all-day, free, virtual event where we’ll have two stages and fifteen presenters throughout the day.
This will be the fifth summit I put on, and each time I keep learning more about how to put on better events. I’m very excited for this one.
Something I’m asked every time, though, is whether there will be recordings. The answer is yes, as long as you register.
We kick off at 9am EST on November 6th and wrap at 5pm. Sign up now to ensure you get the recordings and don’t miss all of the lessons, learnings, and fun we’re going to have that day.
Have a great weekend!
Lessons of the Week:
1. Marketing can be fun.
To promote the summit, I created movie posters of all of the presenters.
I used AI, and it took about an hour to complete. But the result is something shareable, fun, and way more engaging than just hearing me share the details about the event.
Marketing doesn’t have to be boring. Have fun with it.
2. Find your constraints to find success.
All business comes down to solving the current constraint, then finding the next.
Start by looking at Supply and Demand. Which are you struggling with more right now?
From there, dive deeper. Determine why you’re struggling on that side.
When you find the constraint, spend resources to solve for it. That’s the fastest path to more resources to keep growing.
3. Track your time.
Alright, this one should go without saying, but you need to track time.
Stores stock shelves. Restaurants have food to serve. When they’re out, that’s it. They have to order more.
In the agency space, “people” are your inventory. More specifically, the hours they have.
If you’re not tracking time, it’s the equivalent of a store or restaurant not tracking what’s on hand. They’d fail if this were the case, and you’ll fail, too.

I need to tell you something that might sting a little: your offers probably aren’t working as hard as they should be.
